Help!! My Printer will not work…..

If your printer is not working:

1. Make sure the machine which must be on for printing from other computers is indeed on.
2. (printer is blinking) Check the ink cartridges. On some models, even if the black is full and the color is empty it will blink.
3. Make sure the printer is installed. See the procedure below. Installing your printer on the classroom student computers and computer lab machines

Installing your printer on the classroom student computers and computer lab machines

If you cannot print from a classroom or computer lab computer do the following first:

(1)Make sure the computer that must be on in your classroom is indeed on.

(2) Double click on the icon on your desktop. Please contact Mr. Deavers if there this icon is not on your desktop.

(3)Click yes when you are asked if you want to install the printer.

(4) Click the Printer menu and choose Install.

(5) Click Printer and make sure Set as Default printer is now checked. If it is not then click Set as Default printer. Close the window and then print from the program you are using.

You should not have to do this again, but there may be cases where it is necessary.
